As a member of the Senate of the Economy, ForestFinest Consulting attended this year’s Spring Convention in Berlin on March 28th. FFC and its brand CO2OL support and advise the association, which is committed to build a green and social market economy, in the areas of sustainability and climate change mitigation.
Participants at the event discussed the question “Does Europe Have a Future?”. The President of the Senate, Prof. Franz Josef Radermacher, in his speech called for joint European actions in particular two areas – climate protection and a Marshall Plan for Africa. The Senate has responded to both challenges with its own initiatives and projects.
For implementing a “Marshall Plan for Africa” as well as assisting companies in their climate protection efforts, FFC/CO2OL is sharing its knowledge to jointly work with the Senate of the Economy and its members to facilitate the economical and social transformation towards a sustainable future.
To support this goal, the Senate has recently launched the initiative “RoadMap Sustainability” providing companies with information, advisory services and educational tools to better respond to new legal requirements and public pressure regarding issues such as reporting, transparency, supply chains and controlling. The initiative is based on the conviction that sustainability enhances the value of a company and secures its business success in the long term.
