Study: Reforestation most effective climate action

Reforestation on a global scale is one of the most powerful weapons against climate change. This is the result of a new study by Swiss university ETH Zurich. The researchers state that the goal set by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees can still be achieved through large-scale reforestation and afforestation efforts. Therefore, we as ForestFinest and CO2OL develop, finance and market forestry and agroforestry projects in Latin America and Africa.
