Regular field visits and meetings with our partners and local stakeholders are important in order to guarantee the success and sustainable impact of our projects in the context of afforestation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable cocoa and timber production.
To reduce our carbon footprint in terms of long distance travels, part of our team is located permanently in Latin America.
In 2017, we further intensified our activities and services in the area of drone data collection including analysis for land preservation zoning, disease detection and tree growth assessment.
In Peru, FFC participates in NAMA activities in terms of advisory, the design of financing mechanism and the development of commercialization strategies and market niches for various commodities. In this context, we are also engaged in the assessment of deforestation status and the identification of mitigation measures on a country level.
